We are Jazyková škola s právem státní jazykové zkoušky PELICAN and since 2002 we have been offering quality support and assistance to those who need to improve or prove their language skills. Those interested in studying can choose from many forms of study, such as individual, group, and corporate language courses, or annual intensive post-secondary study programs in English, Spanish, and other languages with student status.
Since its establishment in 2002, PELICAN has made a name for itself in the field of teaching Czech to foreigners. PELICAN offers individual and group courses as well as intensive year-long programs designed for students who want to study or work in the Czech Republic but need to overcome the language barrier. Our goal is to help course participants achieve the required language level as quickly as possible and ensure that they can easily integrate into everyday life in Czechia.
The PELICAN language school has been focusing on exam preparation for a long time. We offer regular preparatory courses in which students concentrate directly on mastering the required exam. During the lessons, they can try out individual parts of the exam and also go through a model version of the entire exam so that they know what to expect.
At PELICAN, we organize language exams in six world languages at levels B1, B2, and C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference. The state language exam in Brno is open to all interested parties, not just those who have completed our courses. In 2018, we also became an official preparation center for Cambridge English Language Assessment.
